Put numbers to 5 in order
This skill helps preschool and early elementary learners remember the order of numbers up to 5. Children strengthen their understanding of the number sequence by arranging numbers themselves.
How to practice:
- Put the numbers up to 5 in the correct order.
- Move the number cards into increasing order, from smallest to largest, then tap Check.
- Tap Show answer to see the correct sequence.
Use the speaker button to hear the instructions. This also supports children who are not yet confident readers or find written instructions difficult to follow.
Each number has a place in the sequence: 2 follows 1, 3 follows 2, and so on. Children learn to see the relationships between numbers as well as recognize the numerals.
The activity also practices following instructions, working in order, checking an answer, and correcting mistakes. These are useful skills when preparing to work independently at school.
