Read minutes on a clock

After identifying the hands and understanding positions between hours, learn to read the minutes more precisely.

A clock face shows 1 to 12, but an hour contains 60 minutes. Each number also represents a multiple of five minutes: 1 means 5 minutes, 2 means 10 minutes, 3 means 15 minutes, and so on.

How to practice:

• Read the minutes shown by the minute hand. Begin with the minute labels as hints.
• As the questions become more challenging, read the minutes without labels.
• In later questions, identify the minute hand when both hands are shown.
