This final clock skill brings the earlier steps together. Read both hands, understand the hour and the minutes, and combine them into one answer.

The clock becomes a practical tool for telling time. Use the skills already practiced: identifying hands, finding quarter hours, reading positions between hours, and counting minutes.

How to practice:

• Look at the hour hand and the minute hand.
• Choose the matching time to the nearest five minutes.
• Listen to the hint if you need help deciding which hour the hand has passed.
