Put objects in the frame: numbers to 3
This interactive skill is for preschool and early elementary learners who are beginning to count. It helps children match a number to a quantity of objects up to 3.
Counting confidently to 3 is one of the first steps in preparing for school. Children learn to name numbers in order, understand their sequence, and connect each number with a quantity.
How to practice:
- Read or listen to the question, such as “Put 2 cubes in the frame.”
- Move the required number of objects into the frame on the right, then tap Check.
- Tap Help to see how many spaces you need to fill.
Use the speaker button to hear the instructions. This also supports children who are not yet confident readers or find written instructions difficult to follow.
Confident counting provides a foundation for elementary mathematics. It supports first calculations, number comparison, number bonds, word problems, and number sequences.
